In Cameroon, attacks have been steadily increasing for several months and their consequences on the population are worrying. More than 460,000 people are now estimated to be displaced in areas prone to such attacks and conflict.
During the last three months of 2019, the number of attacks increased by 72.5%.
Thus the towns of Cameroon, affected by insecurity, are exposed to problems such as: looting of health structures, limitation of access to health structures especially for the most vulnerable “pregnant women and children”, looting of schools. which leads to difficult access to education, hunger, unemployment, poverty.
To help Cameroon in its fight against the insecurity crisis and to ensure the safety and dignity of civilians, DEDI is implementing emergency activities with these partners.
DEDI, through the implementation of its Programs and Projects under development, have a positive impact on the most vulnerable sectors.
DEDI Cameroon’s Programs and Projects are being developed with the various partners.
