Context

Burkina Faso, country of upright men, is a Sahelian country in West Africa. It is surrounded by Mali to the North West, Niger to the North East, Benin to the South East, Togo to the South East, Ghana to the South and the Ivory Coast to the South West. It is a country which since 2015 has been weakened by attacks perpetrated by armed groups and disturbed by the increase in violence causing numerous inter-community conflicts. These attacks endangering the lives of populations push many people to become refugees, leaving their living environment, and thus pushes foreigners: “Malian refugees living in border countries, including Burkina Faso” to leave their camp and to return to Mali.

Growing insecurity in Burkina has led to rising unemployment, food shortages, famine, etc.

DEDI in order to remedy the problems encountered by populations exposed to armed conflicts, displaced persons, refugees and asylum seekers, implements activities in partnership with local and international partners.
